CITY WALKS

If you like sightseeing in a traditional non-hasty way, then a stroll in the company of a qualified city guide should be the choice for you.

We can plan an enjoyable walk, the length of the route and the itinerary will depend only on you – according to the time you have in hand and to what you really want to see in Cracow.

We’ll discuss the details with you and make adjustments on spot.

This is our proposal:

The Royal Route

Start with the Old Town, visit the Wawel Castle and Cathedral, see the State Rooms, then walk along Kanonicza Street and Grodzka Street down to the Bishop’s Palace

Move on to see the old university district and the famous Collegium Maius, then the Market Square and St. Mary’s Church.

Leave the old city walls through St. Florian’s Gate and finish your route at the Barbican.

The Jewish Heritage Route

This route begins at the Old Synagogue and the nearby Remuh Synagogue with the adjacent cemetery.

A short walk along Szeroka Street and Józefa Street will take you to the High Synagogue and the Izaak Synagogue, then you’ll stroll around Plac Nowy and see the courtyard where Schindler’s List was shot!

To finish with, there are two more synagogues – Temple and Kupa.

Optionally, you may extend this route and see Plac Bohaterów Getta (which translates as the ‘ghetto heroes square’), ‘Pod Orłem’ Pharmacy, Schindler’s Factory or the place where the concentration camp in Płaszów was.
